I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled an

Ordinance to repeal the Fon-Ferrous Fetal Industry Ordinance,

1919, and the Non-Ferrous Metal Industry Amendment Ordinance, 1920,

and am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions.

2.

This Ordinance was introduced in accordance with the Secre-

tary of State's approval, as signified in his despatch(Hongkong To.

104) of the 18th April, 1921.

3.

In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency

the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty and on

His behalf,
